continues in the Basque country, the harsh repression by the English state. Just a few days ago, in Donostia, the Guardia Civil has made arrests and detentions of men of the Basque patriotic left (among them spokesman Arnaldo Otegi of the political bodies of the Basque people and Rafa Diez former national secretary of the union LAB). This current scenario:
- illegalization of left-wing parties and youth organizations Basque independence.
- Closure of the media (radio, newspapers and publishing houses, censorship television ...).
- More than 700 political prisoners scattered thousands of miles away from home very often in solitary confinement and tortured.
- The dirty war that hits back with the disappearance of Jon Antza.
- The constant attempt by the English Government to remove symbols of solidarity, such as photos of political prisoners.
- The brutal repression of the various police forces in the area of \u200b\u200bEuskal Herria, who deny even the most basic expressions of solidarity (initiatives in the streets, welcoming extracarceraria of political prisoners ...).
We therefore call on all people who are sensitive to the issue of mobilizing to denounce the current state of exception that Euskal Herria is experiencing.
