UN PRIMO PASSO PER IL PROCESSO DEMOCRATICO:
PRINCIPI E VOLONTA' DELLA SINISTRA ABERTZALE
"Siamo indipendentisti, uomini e donne di diverse generazioni che abbiamo lavorato e lavoriamo per costruire e sviluppare un progetto di liberazione nazionale e sociale. Il nostro obiettivo è la costituzione di uno Stato proprio, considerando che è l'unica forma di garantire totalmente la sopravvivenza e il pieno sviluppo del Popolo Basco, in armonia e solidarietà con il resto dei popoli d'Europa e del mondo. È il nostro legittimo progetto politico, che pretendiamo raggiungere grazie all'adesione maggioritaria della società basca.

Allo stesso modo, attraverso questo dibattito, si pretende riaffermare come propri per tutta la sua base militante e sociale, i seguenti principi, che desideriamo condividere ora con la popolazione basca, agenti politici, sindacali e sociali del paese così come con la Comunità Internazionale:
1. La volontà popolare espressa attraverso vie pacifiche e democratiche, diviene l'unico riferimento del processo di soluzione democratica, sia per sancirne la sua messa in moto che il suo migliore sviluppo cosi come per raggiungere gli accordi che dovranno essere condivisi dai cittadini e cittadine. La Sinistra abertzale, come dovrebbero fare il resto degli attori politici, si impegna solennemente a rispettare ogni fase del processo decisionale che liberamente, pacificamente e democraticamente adotteranno i cittadini e le cittadine basche.

Questo processo, deve basarsi sui principi del senatore Mitchell. Dichiariamo di assumere questi principi.
